About Me

Paris is a Senior Vice President at Teneo where she advises clients on effective communication strategies for their most complex and high-impact initiatives, specializing in media relations, reputation and brand management, CEO positioning, employee engagement and DE&I.

Prior to Teneo, she served as a Vice President at Edelman where she focused on building and scaling worldwide, integrated marketing campaigns for technology and consumer brands. Throughout her time at the firm she helped Fortune 100 companies re-conceive their business models and start-ups challenge entire industries.

Before working at Edelman, Paris led product communications at DISH and served as the company’s first spokesperson. She supported the company's Chief Technology Officer in constructing campaigns for over a dozen product launches, including Sling TV. As a spokesperson she produced and starred in 50+ TV shows broadcast to over 13.5M households and represented the company in top-tier media engagements and speaking opportunities.

Paris founded the first diversity organization at DISH, the DISH Women’s Network, that she grew to over 1,000 active members, building the framework for all future employee resource groups. At CES (Consumer Electronic Show) she was awarded for her work championing diversity, equity and inclusion across the technology industry.

Paris earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Colorado.

  • HP Newsroom Global Lead, increased coverage 131 percent YoY by transforming a regional communications program into a global newsroom leading 20+ professionals in 38 countries focused on executing high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Squarespace Client Lead, built brand purpose and relevance through creative consumer campaigns, including award-winning Super Bowl commercials, driving 22 percent YoY increase in share of voice.

  • Booking.com Senior Media Strategist, advised on and secured all media interviews and speaking opportunities for its CEO resulting in 3x YoY increase in media coverage.

Spokesperson for DISH — represented the Fortune 200 Company in high-level public engagements including media interviews and speaking opportunities.

  • Produced and starred in multiple TV shows broadcast to over 13.5 million households.

  • Launched DISH's YouTube channel and created the company's first video series for consumers.

  • Re-imagined DISH’s TV channels, developing the #1 resource for customer education and generating a 5x increase in viewership.

In parallel, led communications for DISH's Product Organization, supporting company's first-ever Chief Technology Officer with internal and external communications, including speech writing, conferences and launches.

  • Designed product launches for over two dozen new products including Sling TV and DISH’s flagship product, the Hopper.

  • Directed B2B and B2C expositions for DISH/SlingTV including CES and CEDIA, growing brand preference for the company by 23 percent and winning 29 industry awards through such events.

  • Responsible for event management including, but not limited to, negotiating sponsorships, designing and executing marketing campaigns, crafting press materials, providing media training and writing speeches for C-suite executives.

  • Drove internal product communications initiatives for over 20,000 employees.

DISH WOMEN'S NETWORK
Co-Founder, President
  • Built DISH’s first diversity group through innovative business plans, long-term roadmaps and value propositions. 

  • Grew the organization to over 1,100 members including six chapters and an 18-person executive team.

  • Developed the Network's brand identity, website, communication tools, training programs and monthly company-wide events.

  • 70 percent of employees credit the Network for creating a better culture at DISH.

LIVE WORLDLY
Public Relations Coordinator
  • Worked with CEO to create a strategic business plan and investment presentations that lead to a successful Kickstarter campaign achieving 100 percent of funding goals.
